The Return of Light
A Winter Solstice Gathering of Sound, Silence, and Illumination with Zacciah Blackburn and Dorothy Stone, Emissaries of Sound.
In this gathering, we turn inward toward the quiet flame within — the light that never leaves, only waits to be seen. Through sound, meditation, and gentle reflection, we’ll explore the radiance of consciousness itself: the inner illumination that allows us not only to see, but to know.

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year — the still point in the turning of the Earth’s great wheel, and the sacred return of the light.
Across cultures and traditions, this moment has been honored as a threshold between worlds —
A time to listen deeply, to seed dreams for what is to come, and to remember the luminous essence that lives within us all.
Let This Be a Return:
to the wisdom that knows without striving,
to the heart that shines without effort,
to the sanctity that connects us to all life.
Come home to yourself this Solstice.
Come to the fire at the center of being.
Come to the Return of Light.
Modern science now echoes what the ancients always understood — that we are, at the deepest level, beings of light.
When we rest in coherent states of awareness, that light grows, rippling through body, mind, and heart.
Together, we will listen, tone, and rest in stillness — cultivating the light within, sharing it outward into a world in need of warmth, wonder, and grace.
This free seasonal gathering is offered as a gift of thanks to our community — to all who walk the path of practice, care, presence, and service.
Through guided sound, reflection, and shared stillness, we will attune to the living light within the heart, rekindle our vision for the months ahead, and celebrate the beauty of being together in resonance.
