There comes a point on every path when a different question begins to emerge.
For years we gather teachings, practices, experiences, and insights. We attend workshops, retreats, and gatherings. We develop skills, deepen our understanding, and discover what continues to call us back to the work. Over time, our work in sound and consciousness becomes more than something we study. It becomes part of how we understand ourselves and meet the world.
Eventually, another question begins to ask for our attention.
"What is asking to live through me?"
How do I deepen my relationship with this work?
How do I embody what I have received?
How do I bring what I have learned into meaningful relationship with my life, my community, my practice, and the world around me?
The Emissaries of Sound™ Mentoring Journey was created for that threshold.
For those continuing the path beyond Foundations of Sound Healing™
Emissaries is a year-long container for those who have completed Foundations of Sound Healing™ and feel called to deepen their relationship with sound through reflection, mentorship, community, practice, and inquiry.
Many participants arrive after years of workshops, retreats, gatherings, conversations, and personal exploration within the Sunreed™ community. The mentoring journey provides an opportunity to continue that relationship while deepening your connection to sound, consciousness, healing, service, and authentic being.
This is a place where practice deepens through relationship, where wisdom is explored through experience, and where community becomes part of the path itself.
It creates space for the kinds of questions that cannot be answered through information alone, but instead unfold through conversation, reflection, practice, and lived experience.
The Journey
Step 1 | Foundations of Sound Healing™
Every meaningful structure depends upon a strong foundation.
Foundations of Sound Healing™ provides the experiential understanding of sound, healing, consciousness, instruments, and practice that supports everything that follows within the Emissaries journey.
Because Emissaries builds upon concepts, practices, and experiences introduced within Foundations, completion of Foundations of Sound Healing™ is required before entering the mentoring program.
Participants who attended Foundations in person in previous years may wish to add access to the online Foundations program when registering. This provides ongoing access to the complete curriculum, recordings, manuals, and teaching materials referenced throughout the year.
Step 2 | Application & Acceptance

Enrollment into Emissaries of Sound™ is intentionally limited in order to support meaningful mentoring relationships, personal attention, and a strong sense of community.
The mentoring circle is designed for individuals who feel called to deepen their relationship with sound, consciousness, healing, stewardship, and service, and who are willing to engage thoughtfully in both personal reflection and community participation.

Step 3 | Oracle of Light™
Before entering the mentoring circle, accepted participants begin the Oracle of Light™ Preparation Path, a self-guided seven-part journey designed to prepare the ground for the year ahead.
Inspired by a transmission received by Zacciah Blackburn:
The container of the sacred flame of the womb of creation is present.

Seed your temple of light with an oracle of intention.
You are an Oracle of Light.
Oracle of Light™ offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, reconnect, and prepare. Through guided lessons, contemplative practices, journalling, and community engagement, participants revisit the foundations that have supported their journey while becoming familiar with the resources, relationships, and conversations that will accompany them throughout the mentoring year.
By the time the mentoring circle begins, participants have already begun building relationships, reconnecting with core concepts, and establishing a deeper sense of purpose and direction for the journey ahead.
Step 4 | The Emissaries of Sound™ Mentoring Circle
- ONLINE GATHERINGS: November 12, December 10, January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13 (mentor-led gathering facilitated by Kris), 1:00–3:00/4:00 pm
- IN-PERSON GATHERING: Saturday, June 12, 10:00 am–4:00 pm, at Sunreed™.
Following Oracle of Light™, participants enter the mentoring circle itself.
Over eight months we gather as a small cohort devoted to exploring the relationship between sound, consciousness, healing, service, authentic being, and meaningful participation in life.
Each gathering is approximately two to three hours in length and unfolds organically according to the needs, questions, discoveries, and interests emerging within the circle. This allows the mentoring process to remain responsive, relational, and alive while creating space for genuine inquiry, meaningful dialogue, and personal growth.
Together we explore questions that deepen through experience, conversation, reflection, and practice.
The mentoring journey is less concerned with providing definitive answers and more interested in cultivating the conditions through which deeper understanding may emerge.
Areas of Exploration
Participants are invited to bring their questions, discoveries, challenges, aspirations, and evolving work into a circle where they can be genuinely seen, supported, and encouraged.

The Nature of Healing
Exploring healing, wholeness, consciousness, transformation, empowerment, and the evolving relationship between practitioner and participant.
Sound & Consciousness
Investigating resonance, awareness, intention, manifestation, creativity, and the relationship between vibration and perception.
Resonance & Radiance
Exploring the relationship between sound and light, vibration and consciousness, presence and manifestation.
The Art of Seeing
Cultivating intuition, subtle perception, discernment, and the ability to recognize what is present beneath the surface.
Opening the Doorway
Exploring sound as a vehicle for entering expanded states of awareness and deeper dimensions of experience.
Working with the Subtle Body
Investigating energy, resonance, perception, and the unseen aspects of therapeutic and spiritual work.
Knowing & Being
Exploring authenticity, embodiment, wisdom, integrity, and direct experience.
Stewardship & Service
Considering how sound and consciousness may be brought into meaningful relationship with humanity, community, nature, and the greater whole.
What does it mean to become an Emissary of Sound™?
For some, it means deepening a healing practice. For others, it means bringing greater presence to their work, their relationships, or their community. For others, it becomes a commitment to living more consciously in relationship with sound, wisdom, and service.
What unites us is a willingness to continue listening.
To continue learning.
To continue growing into the gifts we have been entrusted with and discovering how those gifts may serve something larger than ourselves.
The path of the Emissary is ultimately relational. It is expressed through listening, presence, authenticity, stewardship, service, and a sincere commitment to participation.
An Emissary understands that sound is more than a modality and consciousness is more than an idea. Both become ways of meeting life.
Over time, the work begins to shape how we listen, how we serve, how we create, how we relate, and how we carry ourselves in the world. The journey becomes less about acquiring knowledge and more about cultivating wisdom, integrity, and meaningful participation in the greater whole.
Stewardship & Community
For some participants, the mentoring journey naturally unfolds into a deeper devotion to sound, light, consciousness, and service within the wider Sunreed™ community.
The path of the Emissary of Sound™ is not a certification or designation, but a living expression of one's relationship with the work. It grows through practice, presence, generosity, and a heartfelt commitment to serving others through sound.
Each year, during our Emissaries of Sound™ Gathering, we celebrate and witness those who feel called to embrace this path of stewardship. It is a community affirmation of an inner commitment—a joyful recognition of a journey already being lived.
For those who wish to continue beyond the mentoring year, opportunities for service, mentorship, collaboration, and community stewardship naturally continue to unfold.
Your Mentors
Zacciah Blackburn, Emissary of Sound™
Zacciah has been immersed in world healing music, sound, and shamanic practices for his entire professional life. His work bridges therapeutic sound, spiritual development, and indigenous earth mysteries. Trained in classical healing, shamanic traditions, and sacred sound cultures, Zacciah brings a depth of experience that unites ancient wisdom with modern understanding.
Dorothy Stone, Emissary of Sound™
Dorothy brings a lifetime of healing, intuitive wisdom, and creative artistry to her work with sound. Originally trained as an oncology nurse, her path evolved into holistic healing, consciousness studies, and the creation of sacred instruments and ceremonial art. Her work reflects a deep relationship with nature, compassion, and the transformative power of sound.
